MAGGIE’S HOME!!!! What a trooper she is! We called at 8:30 and went to pick her up at 9:30. We talked to the surgeon and he answered all our questions, then they brought her out, walking on her leash!!! She was all waggly and happy to see us! I had her in her little bed on my lap on the way home. Kenzie was a little afraid to approach Maggie at home, but came over, smelled her and now all is well. She has a soft Cone of Shame, which is much more comfy, but she is still trying to get at the incision. We are staying with her full time!!! OMG – she just tried to jump up on the couch!!! Rick put her on my lap on the lazy boy. She is amazing!!!
Welcome home Maggie! So many babies getting to come home this weekend! How exciting to start your new life with no pain. You will do great and be amazed at how quickly you forget that you only have three legs! We look forward to hearing more.
YAY MAGGIE! Isn’t it the best feeling in the world when you bring your baby home? I remember feeling like my heart would just burst! So happy to hear she is doing well!!!

Yes! Driving to the vets, I felt like a teenager before her first date!!!! She just went out the doggy door and pooped!!!! OMG – she is an AMAZING girl!!!

Isn’t that just one of the best moments in your entire life!! Sooooo hapy for you and sooooo glad she’s doing well!
Now, as you kow, sometimes…not always…after the hospital meds wear off in a day or so, she may…OR MAY OT…have a little less “fun” for a bit!
She is an amzing girl with some amazing advocates! Keep us posted on all her victories…..we love celebrating aroundhere!
